THE RANGERS OF THE NORTH

Inspired by the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, the Rangers of the North are a Canadian based living history project that works with medieval and viking reenactment groups to interpret the material culture of what the nomadic people of Tolkien’s lost kingdom of “Arnor” might look like.

The base of our portrayal is a mixed bag of medieval styles but we take great pride in all of our kit and equipment being handmade form natural materials and traditional crafting techniques.

Being “Rangers” we also have a specialization in archery, bushcrafting skills and historical camping and trekking.
